For many, it is a landmark that means home. " Good morning Charleston is a soft colorfield that was painted with a simple focal point at the bow of the shrimp boat. The bright morning dazzle on the water tells you today is going to be a beautiful day, full of promise to the shrimpers who are headed out to comb the coastal waters. The Cooper River bridge was painted softly as a reminder of context, here in the low country, we all navigate around the beauty that is Charleston. I have seen Shrimp boats and Crab boats and sailboats and yachts. A 4 am Alarm to go fishing is tough to wrap your head around while you rest on a pillow but soon, casting off, you see the sun dance on the water and remember, that this is the magic of a new day, A good day on the water.
