Closer to my Home

Closer to my home is a celebration of gratitude, of blessings of which I have many. My wife, my kids and my family are at the top.  low country living adds a visual richness and joy that cannot be explained, after you visit , you know it is special. The poetry of colors and light that dance along the road next to my car window reaffirm our decision to move here.
I pray for the lord Jesus to use my hands for his work, and the response is humbling. As a conduit of love using His talent ,  "Closer to my home"  captures Horlbeck Creek a mile from my home, a scene whenever I drive my car, it is always something I see out and about on my way.
“Closer to my home” is about painting , laughing with family and friends, moving to Mount Pleasant and looking out my car windows.  It is the 5th painting completely created on my easel I keep at Mount Pleasant mall and was painted in the summer of 2024.
